Key Signals Explained:
These signals are divided into two categories: Performance Metrics and Contextual Metrics.
Performance Metrics examine growth trends based on user engagement, consistent growth across platforms, and user curation support. These are rated on a scale from 1 to 10, where a higher score indicates better performance.
Contextual Metrics are open to interpretation by the user and include metrics that assess editorial curation support, trigger cities, international presence, and audience concentration. While these also operate on a 1-10 scale, it’s up to the user to determine whether a high score is desirable.
