Sometimes you may see tracks that do not belong to your artist, or tracks with incorrect artist linking. It could be that your song originally appeared on the wrong artist page in Spotify, but this has since been fixed through your distributor or label. Once the song shows correctly within Spotify or Apple Music, you will need to follow this steps for it to reflect correctly in Chartmetric.
Here's how to fix this within Chartmetric. Click the 'REFRESH DATA' button at the top of the track page. Chartmetric will fetch the most recent artist - track relationship from Spotify and Apple Music, and refresh our data table.
After this, follow these next two steps:
- Go to the album page, click refresh data - wait up to 30 seconds for the page to auto refresh.
- Go to the artist page, click refresh data - wait up to 30 seconds for the page to auto refresh.
That should be it, this pulls through and updates linking across each page.
