Track Moods & Activities help you understand how people emotionally connect with music and what everyday situations they are listening in. Each track in the database is tagged with mood and activity labels, giving you a quick and intuitive way to grasp the song’s vibe and context.

Mood tags highlight the emotional tone of a track (like Nostalgic, Celebratory, or Emotional), while activity tags describe typical listening scenarios (like Study, Workout, or Dance). These tags appear directly on track profile pages and are powered by large-scale analysis of real listener behavior, such as playlist naming patterns and social media commentary.

You can use these tags to filter for songs that fit specific emotional or situational criteria. For example, combine Melancholic and Study to build a mood-driven playlist, or search for Energetic and Workout tracks trending in a specific region. These tags also pair well with other filters like genre, platform performance, or audience demographics for even deeper insights.

This tool is especially useful for A&R teams scouting songs with distinct emotional resonance, playlist editors looking to match a vibe, sync teams identifying music for commercials or scenes, and marketers looking to target audience moods and behaviors.

Track Moods & Activities add a new layer of meaning to the data, helping you connect songs with listeners not just by genre or stats but by how and when they are experienced.
