If you want to find out about music industry trends particular to a specific city, browse through our Cities List to find the city that you're focused on. You can search for a specific location via the search bar, or filter by country, genre, and population via the dropdown menus on the top of the cities table.

Once you find the city you're focused on, select it and you will proceed to the city profile. Here you will find more information about top/trending artists, tracks, genres, and events within the city.

This is extremely helpful with discovering which artists and genres may be increasing in popularity in cities outside of their hometown. When routing a tour or knowing where to promote music for radio and other editorial opportunities, knowing what artists are doing well in these locations is extremely helpful. If you're interested in country/region level data, the process is very similar. Navigate to our Locations List which will take you to a directory of countries/regions available on Chartmetric. Search for the country/region in question and then proceed to its profile. Here you'll see information specific to the country/region you select.

Our country profiles contain a variety of information according to the geographic data available, including trending artists from the region, top artists from the region, and top foreign artists who are performing well within the region. Toggling between these options will give you a complete understanding of the market within that region according to artist and track level data that's available.
