Earlier this year, we introduced the concept of the Social Media Impact score; however, upon further refinement, we’ve opted to split this into two metrics - Social Engagement and Network Strength. Social Engagement assesses fan interactions with an artist’s social media - things such as likes, comments, views, etc. This metric captures the quality of an artist’s social media presence. Network Strength measures the extent of an artist’s connectivity by evaluating their follower network and their proximity to other artists.
