Setting up TikTok Email Notifications

Looking to receive email notifications for TikTok Tracks, Videos, Rankings and Posts? Here's how to set it up!

To receive TikTok notifications in your email, you must first do the following.

  1. Click 'Follow Artist' on an Artist page

  2. On your dashboard under the Email Report column, turn the slider on (to the right)

Now you will need to navigate to the settings menu. From here there are two options.

Under General Email Notifications:

  1. Turn the slider on for 'Subscribe to Reports'

  2. Check the box next to 'TikTok Rankings' and 'TikTok Posts'.

  3. Tap the 'save' button

Under TikTok Email Notifications:

  1. Turn the slider on for 'Subscribe to TikTok Track Updates'

  2. Check the box next to 'TikTok Rankings' and 'TikTok Posts'.

  3. Tap the 'save' button

Understanding TikTok reports and how the score is calculated.

Engagement score:

Score is calculated by a weighted average methodology which includes the TikTok video likes, comments and views, using the following formula: Engagement score = 0.5 * comments + 0.3 * likes + 0.2* views

Trending video:

Videos posted in the last 7 days with an engagement score of more than 1M

Note:

The N/A in the trending track section does not mean that there is no daily/weekly/monthly growth. It indicates there are no trending tracks to display since the track did not cross the notification thresholds.
